About the Role

As our SDR for Sweden, you’ll focus on the Swedish market, generating qualified leads and building relationships with potential customers for our Account Executives. You’ll contribute directly to revenue growth in Sweden, provide insights into local market dynamics, and support the sales team in refining outreach strategies.

You’ll research and connect with experience providers, from tours and classes to events and local activities, and turn conversations into booked meetings. You’ll also provide feedback to product and marketing teams and help optimize our processes for the Swedish market.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and research potential customers (experience providers, venues, activity operators) in Sweden

  • Reach out via calls, email, and LinkedIn to introduce Understory’s value

  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives

  • Maintain accurate lead and prospect data in the CRM; track progress and report insights

  • Share learnings about the Swedish market, including local trends, competitor activity, and cultural preferences

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and support growth

What We’re Looking For

  • Fluency in Swedish and English (written & spoken)

  • Strong communication and outreach skills; proactive and well-organized

  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt pitches to the Swedish market

  • Passion for experiences, travel, and the experience economy

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment

Nice to Have

  • Network within the tourism, travel, or events industries in Sweden

  • Familiarity with experience-booking platforms, hospitality, or SaaS

  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Guava, Gong)
