Technical Test Automation Engineer – AI-Assisted Testing
Twoday is looking for a technically strong Test Automation Engineer to join one of our public sector projects. In this role, you will help ensure high software quality through automated testing, structured validation of requirements, and close collaboration with development teams.
The project is exploring how modern testing practices and AI-assisted tooling can support development, testing, and documentation processes in a controlled and responsible way.
You will work in a cross-functional team alongside developers, architects, and domain specialists, helping to ensure that complex systems behave correctly and comply with regulatory requirements.
Your role
As part of the delivery team, you will contribute both technically and analytically to quality assurance and testing practices.
Your responsibilities may include:
• Designing and implementing automated tests using Playwright or similar frameworks
• Developing and maintaining test automation suites for web applications
• Supporting end-to-end, integration, and regression testing
• Integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to translate requirements, legislation, and business processes into structured test scenarios
• Supporting the team in exploring how AI tools can assist with testing, validation, and documentation
• Contributing to continuous improvement of testing practices and development workflows
What we are looking for
We are looking for a technically curious profile who enjoys working with automation, quality engineering, and modern development practices.
Ideally, you have experience with several of the following:
• Test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar
• Writing and maintaining automated test scripts
• Working with Jira, Confluence, X-Ray, or similar tools
• Agile development practices and collaboration in cross-functional teams
• CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery processes
• Translating complex requirements or business processes into test scenarios
Experience or interest in AI-assisted development or testing tools is considered an advantage.
