Job Description

Our vision is to be the universal symbol of trust, bringing consumers and businesses together through reviews. We are well on our way—but there’s still an exciting journey ahead. Join us at the heart of trust.

Our People Team strategy is bold, clear, and meaningful: we’re becoming a Destination Employer.  We want people to aspire to join us, feel proud of being a Trustie, and look back on their time at Trustpilot as the best years of their career. At the heart of this vision is a distinct focus on people experience, driven by operational excellence across the entire employee lifecycle.

As the Head of People Operations, you will play a critical role in shaping how we deliver a world-class employee experience at scale. Leading a high-performing team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across all people-related processes and systems, ensuring that Trusties worldwide receive a seamless, efficient, and people-centric experience.

In this role, you will own and oversee key touchpoints such as pre-boarding, onboarding, global mobility (visa and work permits), HR systems, day-to-day employee queries, compliance, and policies. Your leadership will ensure that all Trusties have a positive experience across the entire employee lifecycle, while maintaining the highest standards of data accuracy, operational rigor, and compliance.

You will also spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing people processes through automation, smart workflows, and innovative system transformations. Your ability to drive change and improve processes will be critical as we scale globally and embed best practices across multiple jurisdictions.

This is a global leadership role that requires strong strategic oversight, hands-on operational expertise, and collaboration with senior stakeholders across the business. You will work closely with teams in Legal, Finance, IT, and the wider People Team to ensure alignment, compliance, and efficiency across our people operations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and develop a global People Operations team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.
  • Oversee the smooth delivery of all core people processes across the employee lifecycle — from pre-boarding and onboarding through to offboarding.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries relating to contracts, policies, and employment terms.
  • Manage global mobility support, including coordination of visas and work permits, in collaboration with our legal and external partners.
  • Own people data integrity, HR system accuracy, and compliance with employment regulations across multiple geographies.
  • Design and maintain scalable, people-centric processes that create a consistent and positive employee experience globally.
  • Drive operational excellence through process optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and support strategic projects such as HR system upgrades, data migrations, and workflow transformations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, IT, and the wider People team to ensure seamless service delivery and strong governance.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and innovation within the People Operations space.

Who you are:

  • You bring proven experience in a senior People Operations, HR Shared Services, or People Experience leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced, international environment.
  • You have a strong track record of leading global HR operations, including HR systems, data, compliance, and process excellence.
  • You’ve been a key player in driving HR system transformation, and are comfortable working across vendors, stakeholders, and business units to implement new tools and workflows.
  • You’re excited about the opportunity to embed AI and automation into core people processes and have a natural curiosity for innovative, tech-enabled solutions.
  • You are detail-oriented and structured, with a strong sense of accountability for process, documentation, and controls.
  • You are an empathetic and empowering leader, capable of developing, supporting, and inspiring a high-performing team.
  • You’re known for your collaborative spirit and strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.

What's in it for you:

  • A range of flexible working options to dedicate time to what matters to you
  • Competitive compensation package + bonus
  • 25 days holiday per year, with an extra 5 days holiday allocated after your 1 year anniversary (prorated)
