Do you enjoy making systems? Are you also pretty silly? Would you like to collaborate with other creative people to make a game that makes people laugh?

As a Senior Game Programmer for one of our unannounced, exciting, goofy game projects, you'll be responsible for building the tech and underlying systems needed for the game to work.

Okay, let's get more specific. Here's what you'll do on a day-to-day basis:

  • In collaboration with game designers, artists, and other programmers, you'll build new features for a game with an existing tech infrastructure, continuously iterating on improvements.

  • You’ll be one of the team’s domain experts, including balancing long-term code health with short-term needs and sharing best practices with your team mates.

  • We all work in Unity with C#, with every team member hands-on in the editor.

  • Overall, you'll make sure the project is great to work on.

This includes things like:

  • Designing an architecture that allows for easy gameplay implementation and flexibility, with multi-platform support in mind.

  • Implementing core systems, such as data storage, localization, analytics, etc.

  • Helping designers, artists, and everyone else make their work as awesome as possible.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in game development in a similar role.

  • Worked on multiple games as part of a team, and have been a part of the different stages of development.

  • Proficiency in C# and a deep knowledge of the Unity engine and editor, including its asset pipeline and editor tooling.

  • Experience shipping iOS and macOS apps with hands-on integration of Apple platform services such as GameKit and the Game Controller framework, using Xcode and Swift.

Bonus points

  • Experience maintaining a live game, including coordinating and implementing updates, managing app store submissions, and keeping a live player base happy.

  • Experience with Unity rendering pipeline, shader programming, and performance optimization for different platforms.

  • Experience working with automated build pipelines like Jenkins.

Requirements for any job at Triband

  • You thrive in taking ownership of your area: you spot problems, seek advice when needed, and implement creative solutions that push projects forward.

  • You're motivated by collaboration, mutual respect, inclusiveness, and creativity, and you actively contribute to sustaining that culture.

  • You value a positive work environment and contribute to making the studio a fun and supportive place.

  • You have team production experience, such as using version control software (we use git), branching, stand-ups, sprints, and reviews.

Deadline and Start date: Apply before March 31, 2026 and expect an update from us sometime after the deadline. We'd love for you to start soon, but the right match matters, so we're happy to wait for the right person.

Practicalities
  • We don’t offer relocation support or visa sponsorship for this role.

  • We work a 37-hour work week, with flexibility built in so you can balance work and life.

  • We work on-site at our cozy office in central Copenhagen.

  • No crunch. People over deadlines.

  • Our working language is English.

We offer
  • Silly projects, and the chance to work on and impact great games that reach millions of players.

  • A strong focus on personal growth and professional skill development.

  • A playful and ambitious work environment where experimentation is encouraged.

  • Friendly and kind colleagues who love making each other laugh as much as making games.

  • Paid parental leave, pension plan, and health Insurance (with family coverage available)

  • Five weeks of vacation plus five extra days.

  • Child's sick leave.

  • Social activities such as hobby nights and Friday bars

  • Daily lunch at a local restaurant with vegetarian/vegan options + soft ice on Thursdays

  • Endless amounts of coffee.
