Do you like being the person who sees how everything connects? Do you enjoy making a whole team more effective, not just your own work?
As our new Core Tech Lead, you’ll be the person who keeps up to ten talented programmers across different workstreams pointed in the same direction. The team works across in-house packages, server deployments, multiplayer solutions, and unifying technologies across projects, and your job is to make sure all of that moves forward in a coherent way. And this is as much a technical role as it is a people one. You’ll still spend at least half of your time on coding, so we need someone with the technical breadth to jump across all of the above when needed.
Here’s what that looks like day to day
Leading a team of 5-10 programmers, keeping a clear overview of technical priorities across very different workstreams, and making sure the team is unblocked, supported and happy
Collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, translating high-level goals into concrete priorities
Writing a lot of code yourself across the team’s different focus areas
Contributing hands-on to the development of in-house packages, validation tools, localization systems, and multiplayer solutions, among other things
Must-haves
Expert-level Unity and C# experience
Shipped games in Unity as part of a team
Strong experience with Apple platforms, whether that's releasing across iOS, macOS and tvOS, maintaining platform integrations, or building native plugins
A direct communication style. We say what we mean and appreciate when others do the same
Flexibility to adapt to how different people work best
The confidence to make calls independently without needing sign-off on every decision. We’re a relatively small team and we move faster when people trust their own judgment
Nice-to-haves
Experience with other languages and technologies. Breadth of knowledge tends to improve decision-making
Experience with other game engines like Unreal or proprietary engines
Experience architecting and deploying server infrastructure
Experience working on multiplayer games

From our home in central Copenhagen, more than 50 wonderful humans are united by our mission to make everyone laugh. To do so, we focus on exploring comedy through gameplay.
