Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Would you take the lead of the finance function in an ambitious, owner-managed company with strong growth and clear international ambitions?

The company is in a very strong market position and is entering an exciting growth journey with international expansion and increasing complexity in its business. To support this development, the company is now seeking a CFO who will assume overall responsibility for finance and - working closely with the company’s bookkeeper - ensure structure, transparency and overview while acting as a strategic sparring partner to executive management.

This is a unique opportunity to take on a role with significant responsibility, a high degree of autonomy and direct influence on the company’s future development and strategic direction.

Role: Strategic overview combined with hands-on execution

As CFO, you will have the overall responsibility for the company’s finance function and will become a key member of the day-to-day management team.

You will work closely with the rest of management and actively participate in:

• Management meetings
• Board meetings
• Strategic initiatives and decision-making processes

The company is preparing for international expansion, including the establishment of a U.S. subsidiary and the build-up of activities and staffing over the next 6–18 months. This places high demands on financial structure, foresight, and liquidity management.

You will have line management responsibility for the company’s bookkeeper, who currently manages the bookkeeping tasks independently.

Key responsibilities

You will assume a broad and influential role, including responsibility for:

• Overall financial management and financial structure
• Budgeting and ongoing performance follow-up
• Monthly financial statements and reporting
• Cash flow management and liquidity planning
• Forecasting and scenario analysis in line with growth
• Cost calculations for tenders and quotations (including input to Excel models)
• Project cost follow-up and post-calculations
• Building and managing financial structures across the parent company and subsidiaries
• Optimization of internal processes and financial tools
• Dialogue and agreements with banks and other financial partners
• Working with payment terms and financing solutions

Kvalifikationer

Profile: Proactive CFO with structure and perspective

• Have experience as a CFO, Finance Manager, Head of Finance, or a similar role
• Have experience as the financially responsible manager in a growth-oriented, project-based B2B company
• Are able to combine strategic thinking with strong operational (hands-on) capabilities
• Thrive in an environment where structures evolve alongside business growth
• Have experience optimizing and developing processes, tools, and workflows
• Are proactive, curious, and motivated by creating clarity, direction, and results
• Communicate clearly with management, the Board, and the organization
