We are looking for an experienced leader who is motivated by leading international finance teams and fostering strong collaboration across Accounting and the wider business. You combine an interest in operational excellence with the ability to support strategic initiatives that move the function forward.

We are a successful private equity-owned company with 400 employees and an annual revenue of around USD 180m. Our specialty is providing airlines around the world with an alternative solution to traditional component management through our all-inclusive wheel and brake service programs.

 

The opportunity

While operating on both tactical and strategic levels, the role as Global Head of Accounting is a very hands-on role, requiring active involvement in complex transactions, and direct accountability for high‑quality, timely financial reporting.

 

The primary tasks
People leadership

  • Lead and inspire the global Accounting team (currently 12 team members across multiple locations), ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
  • Foster a high-performing, unified accounting function by promoting continuous communication, knowledge sharing, and teamwork within the Accounting team, cross functionally and across sites in TP Aerospace Group.
  • Champion a business-oriented mindset within the Accounting team, helping team members understand how their work supports the broader business goals and enhances value creation across the organization.


Accounting leadership & compliance

  • Take full ownership of the Accounting function and ensure financial integrity and compliance across the group, including day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping, monthly closing, preparation of IFRS compliant quarterly and annual financial reporting, statutory and tax compliance, and deliverables for the Audit Committee’s annual cycle.
  • Oversee credit control management and vendor invoice processing and payments.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury and banking relationships.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements, automation, and digitalization opportunities to enhance efficiency and support business functions.
  • Serve as the functional owner of key financial reporting systems, including ERP (accounting modules), consolidation system, expense management, vendor invoice workflow and a robotic process automation set-up utilized for various parts of the accounting and monthly closing processes.

 

We seek a team member that can identify with the description below:

  • A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in a role with similar responsibilities.
  • Deep expertise in accounting principles and finance operations.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams - both locally and across geographies.
  • A track record of driving business improvements, solving complex problems, and maintaining a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and consolidation tools, as well as advanced skills in Excel and Power BI.

 

A few practicalities about the job: 

  • The position is located in Copenhagen, Denmark.
  • You should expect 15-20 travel days annually.
