We are looking for an Accountant to join our EMEA Accounting team in Copenhagen. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting and reporting for multiple entities across EMEA and the Danish HQ, working closely with colleagues in a dynamic, international setting.

The opportunity: 

As an Accountant you will be part of a strong global Accounting team. We provide a collaborative work environment where you are empowered to take ownership of your daily tasks. Your main responsibility will be to support and deliver end-to-end accounting for the EMEA Entities, support the EMEA Accounting Manager with monthly closings, reporting, and compliance. 

The primary tasks:  

• Monthly and yearly closing support for the EMEA and HQ entities 

• Assisting as back-up for other countries on Accounts payable processes 

• Book, clear, and reconcile intercompany transactions and intercompany accounts 

• Prepare and post journal entries and ensure accurate financial records  

• Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements  

• Support statutory reporting and local tax filings (VAT/GST/CIT) 

• Support financial audits, including preparation of audit material and coordination with auditors  

Qualifications: 

We seek a team member that can identify with the description below: 

• Relevant education ( e.g., accounting. Finance, administration). 

• 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an international company or from audit  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Advanced excel skills  

• Some prior knowledge of Power Bi is a plus 

• Fluent in English (both oral and written)
