At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

40% of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, with 10% of greenhouse gas emissions coming from food waste.

We are a social impact company and through our marketplace app, we connect businesses that have unsold, surplus food, with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at ⅓ of retail value.

But we’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste, so alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

We are growing fast, with our community of over 1  million users in 19 countries. Together, we have saved more than 400 million meals from going to waste since we started - but there’s still a lot more we want to achieve.

Your mission

We’re looking for a MarTech Operations Specialist who thrives at the intersection of data-driven marketing and technical execution. You’ll play a key role in advancing Too Good To Go’s personalization capabilities—directly supporting our mission to reduce food waste—by improving customer retention, boosting ad efficiency, and scaling personalized experiences. You’ll own the intake, management, and standardization of in-app event tracking, ensuring the health and reliability of SDKs, APIs, and integrations with major advertising platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Google) to power advanced CRM and paid marketing personalization and optimization.

What success looks like

  • Cleaner, standardized event tracking and data pipelines.
  • Improved CRM campaign effectiveness (CTR, conversion rates).
  • Improved paid ad efficiency through precise event attribution.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with marketing, CRM, and product teams to translate campaign and personalization needs into clear data requirements.
  • Maintain a unified event taxonomy across app/web (e.g. naming, parameters, user properties).
  • Write technical specifications for instrumentation requests (backend/app developers).
  • Build and manage a structured intake process for all data and CRM tracking requests.
  • Perform initial feasibility checks and sizing on data asks from growth and marketing.
  • Collaborate with Data teams to ensure consistent, reliable user profile data, and governance of that data.
  • Identify and close gaps in behavioural tracking or customer data workflows.
  • Work with product analytics and data engineering to ensure seamless data integration across our key tools: Braze (CRM), Amplitude (product analytics), AppsFlyer (MMP), AWS Redshift (data warehouse), and Hightouch (Reverse ETL).

Required Experience

  • Experience in CRM, growth operations, or marketing analytics.
  • Experience with CRM and major advertising platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with event instrumentation or Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, skilled in navigating cross-team dependencies.
  • Able to write clear, developer-ready requirements and tickets.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Bonus: experience in marketplace platforms, consumer mobile apps, or high-growth scale-ups.

Preferred Tools & Skills

  • Analytics & BI: Amplitude, Looker
  • Mobile Measurement: AppsFlyer
  • Data Warehouse & Integration: AWS Redshift, Hightouch
  • Productivity: YouTrack, Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, Asana
  • Data Skills: Basic SQL, understanding of event schemas and user properties.

Our values

  • We win together: Food waste is a big beast to fight. We can do it if we win together as Waste Warriors with no ego. We believe in a #oneteam.
  • We raise the bar: We always push for more. We work smart, smash barriers and elevate one another.
  • We keep it simple: Our ambitions are bold but our solutions are simple.
  • We build a legacy: We’re proud of the change we’re driving.
  • We care: We always look out for each other. Caring is also about the way we do business. We do the right thing.

  • An opportunity to work in a global social-impact company and certified B Corporation! where you can see a real and tangible impact in your role.
