Core Responsibilities
Be an expert on LEGO Education web data; owning and continuously improving the analytics setup end-to-end in collaboration with Product Experience and Digital Technology
Own and maintain the web analytics data pipeline from Matomo (web tracking tool) all the way to gold-layer tables in Databricks, including tracking and metric definition, data QA, and silver/gold view modeling.
Define and govern the Matomo event taxonomy in collaboration with Marketing and PX, ensuring clean, consistent data that downstream reporting can trust.
Map out customer journeys in collaboration with Global Marketing and Product Experience, and pinpoint drop-offs so that we can prioritize enhancements that impacts sales and performance
Provide Product Experience and Global Marketing with proactive insights and intelligence on new trends in marketing – related to new channels, trends, competition etc., ensuring the team is up to date with what moves in the industry. For Product Experience, the analysis is homing in around usage of our product suite and lessons provided.
Enable reporting on in-market results for all media types. This includes analyzing e-com and lead generation results from owned, earned, paid media and collaborating with the business on making recommendations on what may or may not be working and why
Work in a matrix organization; succeeding in acting as a trusted and close sparring partner for the several team members within the Global Marketing and Product Experience team while being anchored in the Global Insights & Analytics team.

This role helps create clear overview on performance of LEGO Education across marketing and product, by helping to pull the global perspective together across different platforms. It will support the business by adding valuable insights to the table and looking for ways to drive demand across both eCommerce, field sales and partner driven sales as well as. fuel Product Experience with new insights on how to further enhance their offering. This role will, together with the full I&A (Insights & Analytics) team, find ways to sharpen insights to the organization through our partnering style setup.
Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate brings a relevant educational background combined with solid experience in Analyst roles having translated data into actionable insights as well as demonstrated strong business partnership with senior leaders. In addition, we expect that you have experience with/in:
Writing production-grade SQL and Python code for analytical data modeling, including multi-layer transformations (silver/gold or equivalent medallion pattern)
Hands-on web analytics instrumentation, ideally Matomo or comparable, covering tag setup, event tracking, and data validation.
Working with PowerBI or similar data visualization tools
Developing and understanding marketing and product analytics metrics
Managing Senior stakeholders and an ability to navigate tight time pressures
As a person you take initiative, recognizes and acts on opportunities as well as bring am analytical/problem solving mindset. You work and take decisions independently, are a team player and used to working collaboratively across distributed teams. Finally, you show strong communication and presentation skills.
