Job Description

Are you passionate about applying learning sciences research to create measurable impact in STEM education?

We are seeking a motivated university student to join our Efficacy & Insights Research Team in LEGO® Education. This role plays an important part in ensuring our STEM products are grounded in the learning sciences and supported by clear evidence of impact.

As a student worker, you will help translate research into practical tools and insights that directly inform product development. You will work at the intersection of research and real-world application, helping ensure our solutions are both pedagogically sound and impactful for teachers and students.

Core responsibilities

  • Conduct learning landscape reviews in key STEM domains to inform product development strategy and commercial positioning.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of internal evaluation frameworks and evidence metrics used to assess product effectiveness.
  • Create clear research briefs, tools, and presentations that translate research into practical guidance for product teams, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Create documentation for research-related processes and procedures to support team objectives.
  • Assist team members with research activities (planning, field testing, analyses, report writing).

In this role, you will support the team in ensuring we leverage the latest advancements in STEM enabling impactful learning experiences. This student worker role is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organization making a meaningful impact in education.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Masters level student with a focus in learning sciences or education program evaluation.
  • Experience conducting academic research (literature reviews, academic writing, planning and executing education research studies).
  • Experience or strong interest in research translation into practical applications.
  • Strong communication skills (speech and writing).
  • Strong track record of working independently to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent planning, organization, facilitation, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Motivated to work in a global environment and collaborate with across cultures and nationalities.
  • All basic IT skills across the Microsoft suite.
  • Fluent English required.

Location

Preference for in-office work 1-2 days/week through December 18.
