Job Description

Ready to lead the charge in revolutionizing LEGO® moulding production? Join us as a Sr. Project Manager and become a pivotal force in shaping the future of our global operations. Dive into a dynamic role where strategic insight meets hands-on execution, driving cross-site capacity strategies and elevating supplier performance to new heights!

Do you want to shape how moulding technologies are defined and implemented across LEGO®’s global production network?

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of engineering, suppliers, and global production sites—driving strategic initiatives that strengthen capacity, mature technologies, and ensure robust implementation across the organisation. You will navigate complexity, challenge existing setups, and translate technical and operational insights into clear direction and tangible outcomes.

This is an opportunity to take on a role with real influence—where your ability to connect the bigger picture with execution will help shape the future of moulding at LEGO.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own and drive cross-site capacity strategy, proactively identifying constraints, challenging assumptions, and aligning Planning, Suppliers, and Production sites to enable scalable and resilient growth.
  • Shape and elevate supplier performance, building strategic partnerships while challenging current ways of working, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring long-term reliability and competitiveness.
  • Act as a key contributor to the moulding technology agenda, influencing technology roadmaps and challenging existing setups to ensure future-fit solutions across sites and functions.
  • Lead project governance with a value-driven mentality, ensuring not only transparency and alignment, but actively driving prioritization, decision-making, and resolution of complex risks and trade-offs.
  • Identify and drive cross-functional improvements, strengthening collaboration between central and local MD&I teams while challenging inefficiencies and embedding smarter ways of working.
  • Develop and elevate project management capabilities, coaching Project Managers and setting a high standard for execution, ownership, and continuous improvement across projects.

Play your part in our team succeeding

This person will connect global technology ambitions with operational execution across sites and suppliers. Working across MD&I and the wider organization, they will drive capacity alignment, strengthen supplier performance, and ensure effective project execution. They will challenge existing ways of working and drive decisions that enable scalable and resilient production. At the same time, they will develop project managers and strengthen project management practices to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.

MD&I Moulding is a global engineering organization responsible for developing and implementing the technologies behind LEGO moulding production worldwide. We work across the full value chain—from industrialization to implementation in production—ensuring our solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with LEGO’s long-term ambitions.

In this role, you will be a key link between technology and execution. You will drive alignment across sites and suppliers, ensure that projects create real business impact, and strengthen how we work across functions. Your contribution will help us move from individual initiatives to a more connected and forward-looking approach to capacity, technology, and project execution.

Do you have what it takes

The ideal candidate brings experience from a technical or manufacturing environment and thrive in global settings. They are comfortable navigating complexity, challenging the status quo, and building strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive meaningful improvements.

You bring a strong foundation from a technical or engineering environment and are motivated by working in complex, cross-functional settings. You are comfortable taking ownership, challenging the status quo, and driving progress through others.

Moreover, they:

  • Can turn insights into clear priorities and decisive actions, ensuring progress and impact in complex project environments.
  • Solid experience leading or coordinating projects with multiple parties and changing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management (both internally and externally) and indirect leadership skills, enabling alignment across teams and functions
  • The ability to translate complex technical or organizational challenges into clear communication and structured plans
  • A continuous improvement mentality and experience driving improvements in processes or ways of working
  • A technical background within engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering or similar)
  • Professional communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Confidence using common digital tools such as the Microsoft Office suite to support analysis, communication, and project coordination
