Job Description

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of sustainability innovation! As Senior Manager, Sustainability Integration and Systems, you will play a key role in shaping the future of procurement at the LEGO Group. With a mission to embed sustainability across every dimension of supplier performance management, this role goes beyond compliance — it’s about driving lasting change and building a more sustainable, responsible, and resilient supply chain.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supports the development of the Sustainable Sourcing strategy to integrate sustainability (environmental, social, governance) factors into the LEGO Group procurement processes, tools and systems
  • Leads the planning and execution of projects — from discovery and design through rollout and adoption — ensuring milestones, deliverables, budget and timelines are aligned. Flagging risks and obstacles, where necessary.
  • Acts as the central coordinator for Sustainable Sourcing strategy development (PLAN26, PLAN30 etc) and KPIs—tracking progress, driving improvement projects, managing budgets, and ensuring clear alignment across teams and partners
  • Supports the development and continuous improvement of an integrated supplier scorecard and sustainability performance metrics to inform procurement decision-making
  • Designs, implements, and enhances the Sustainable Sourcing management system to house supplier sustainability policies, standards, and operating procedures (SOPs)
  • In support of the Sustainable Sourcing Leadership team, designs and drives the Sustainable Sourcing team operational plan and performance tracking. Provides consistent and high-quality program reporting against KPIs.
  • Foster collaboration between Procurement, Corporate Sustainability, and other business areas to align priorities, share insights, and accelerate impact

The team and their work are embedded in our purpose, strategy, and ways of working, driving long-term value creation and supporting the company’s sustainability goals. This newly established team is structured across the three pillars of ESG: Environmental, Social, and Governance and partners closely with other functions within the LEGO Group, including Supply Chain Operations, Procurement teams, Corporate Sustainability, Responsible Operations, Legal, Government Affairs and others.

Do you have what it takes

  • Education within BSc/BA, MSc/MBA on Sustainability, Business or other related field preferred

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of aligning diverse teams around shared objectives
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution skills — comfortable leading both at the project and system level
  • Ability to connect with audiences from different functional groups (incl. procurement teams, enterprise strategy functions etc.) and at different levels of responsibility (incl. senior management)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems under pressure and tight timelines, escalate issues as needed, and support leadership with strategic decision-making
