Job Description

As a Software Engineer in our dynamic team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, reliable software consistently - while helping create digital solutions that make a real difference for our users. Join our diverse Service Management product team, where you’ll contribute to innovative digital solutions for incident management in acollaborative, supportive environment. We are organised in agile DevOps teams, taking shared ownership of architecture, configuration, coding, and full-stack development, ensuring seamless end-to-end solutions together.

Core responsibilities

  • Design, build and/or configure end-to-end applications through close
    collaboration with other product team members
  • Work with new technologies like Cloud solutions in Azure Cloud and AWS
  • Engineer products to the highest standards of security and data privacy by
    implementing and following LEGO Group security and data privacy principles
    from ideation to production release and beyond
  • Engineer products that implement business logic, modern design patterns
    and architectural principles
  • Ensure product robustness and reliability by writing and executing unit and
    integration tests
  • Improve operational efficiency by developing automation tools for daily tasks
  • Build efficient and optimal solutions by constructively challenging ideas and
    exploring better approaches
  • Eager to learn latest technologies such as generative AI, ChatBots and
    machine learning

Do you have what it takes?

Potentially you have experience as a software engineering background either as a full stack, backend or infrastructure engineer.

  • TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js or similar programming languages and feel
    comfortable learning and adapting to create the best and most valuable
    solutions. For full stack engineers, there’s an expectation to be familiar with
    React
  • Technical expertise within Cloud development, microservices,
    integrations/API development, CI/CD
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services and/or Azure cloud
  • You are a supportive, collaborative colleague who values diversity and
    enjoys a flexible, inclusive, and inspiring environment
  • You have the right combination of technical, analytical, and communication
    skills.
