Job Description
Step into a high-impact role where you bring clarity, structure, and strategic insight into the global engineering portfolio. As Senior Portfolio Manager, you will operate at the heart of decision-making, ensuring that our most critical investments are prioritized effectively, governed rigorously, and deliver lasting value across the organization.
We are hiring for two positions:
One supporting Global Workplace Projects
One supporting the broader Engineering & Workplace organization
Own portfolio governance and reporting for a defined segment of portfolio, delivering clear, high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual insights on progress, risks, capacity, and financial performance.
Drive portfolio planning and prioritization, ensuring initiatives align with strategic objectives and delivery.
Partner closely with Finance, Digital Product Managers, and LEAN teams to support annual planning cycles and ongoing financial and performance tracking.
Be the trusted portfolio advisor to project and program leaders - building positive relationships that ensure transparency, alignment, and reliable data across the portfolio.
Play a key role in the implementation of our Strategic Portfolio Management System, shaping portfolio structures, governance frameworks, and reporting standards.
Enable adoption of Strategic Portfolio Management System by supporting partners through training, guidance, and hands-on day-to-day collaboration.
Collaborate with PMO peers to ensure consistent standards, reporting, and ways of working across engineering and operations.
Continuously improve portfolio practices, driving initiatives that enhance maturity, efficiency, and decision-making across the PMO function.
You will be part of the Global Workplace Projects Portfolio Development & Excellence team, anchored within the Engineering & Workplace organization.
Within this, the Portfolio Management (PMO) team is a small, highly specialized group focused on enabling transparency and strong governance and decision-making frameworks
Each team member owns a distinct portfolio area while working collaboratively to ensure consistency and alignment.
Extensive experience managing or supporting large-scale project portfolios within engineering, technical, or industrial environments.
Proven track record of owning portfolio governance and reporting for a business area.
Strong experience partnering with Finance on investment planning, tracking, and performance reporting.
Hands-on experience with portfolio/project management systems (PPMS, PPM tools, or similar).
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships in a global, matrixed organization.
Strong analytical approach to translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Highly structured and meticulous, with the ability to work confidently with high-value and critical data.
Authorization to work in the country of employment; limited international travel may be required.
Nice to Have
Experience supporting or leading a PPMS implementation.
Background in a PMO or portfolio management team with cross-functional ownership.
Experience in global engineering or matrixed organizations.
Familiarity with LEAN or continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong facilitation, training, or change management capabilities.
