Core Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Risk Management: Ownership of the packing production architecture by leading equipment specialist teams to mitigate enterprise risks and ensure seamless integration of equipment interfaces.

  • Innovation & Specification: Drive innovation by defining concrete interface specifications, ensuring alignment across equipment streams.

  • Project Management: Manage workstream outputs, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with multi-functional partners to gather and analyze requirements for innovative equipment solutions.

  • Prototyping & Testing: Develop and test prototypes and concepts, ensuring technical feasibility and innovation alignment.

  • Documentation & Partner Evaluation: Document technical solutions and evaluate potential technology partners.

  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure alignment to standards, focusing on maintainability, scalability, and environmental health and safety.

  • Operational Capability & Workflows: Develop workflows and assess operational capabilities, defining concepts of operation and installation plans.

  • Strategic Alignment & Development: Align with program managers to develop team capabilities, driving innovation, speed, and quality.

  • Knowledge Sharing & Capability Building: Foster multi-functional development, share knowledge, and build domain capabilities within the team and organization.

  • Innovation & Efficiency: Drive technological advancements that significantly enhance output and operational efficiency.

  • Collaboration & Integration: Foster a cohesive environment where multi-functional teams work together seamlessly to develop and implement equipment solutions.

  • Risk Reduction: Lead efforts to minimize interface risks within equipment subsystems, ensuring robust and reliable designs.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Manufacturing Expertise: Extensive experience in high-volume manufacturing operations, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and quality improvement.

  • Leadership & Implementation: Proven leadership in collaborating with R&D teams and suppliers to qualify and implement new technologies at production sites.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills to monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Collaborative Connector: High collaboration skills, empowering teams and bridging business areas effectively.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP systems.

  • Proactive in recognizing and acting on improvement opportunities.

  • Great teammate with excellent networking skills and industry connections.

  • Experience with sustainability initiatives.

  • Ability to mentor and develop talent, promoting continuous learning.

  • Keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and packaging technologies.

  • Willingness to travel to support collaboration with teams in Kladno, Billund, Jiaxing, and suppliers across Europe.
