Job Description

The LEGO Group is looking for a multi-channel marketing superstar! This role will represent LEGO Retail within the wider LEGO Group Markets & Channels Central Marketing team and will be responsible for cross media performance planning.

Core responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the global marketing investment plan, ensuring alignment with annual growth targets and audience ambitions set out by ICP. 
  • Provide planning guidelines to marketing teams utilising Effectiveness solutions (MMM and modelling) to drive omnichannel goals - .com and store traffic, audience priorities (acquisition / frequency) 
  • Create monthly tracking of marketing performance against targets, presenting to diverse senior stakeholders 
  • Support the Director in building consistent planning processes and governance frameworks across the marketing teams 
  • Partner with media activation teams to ensure channel strategy is aligned with business objectives and in-year priorities 
  • Collaborate with Global and Regional GTM teams support campaign development and drive best practice 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of marketing planning processes

This role sits in the Retail Experiences & Marketing (REM) function of the LEGO Retail organisation. LEGO Retail is the owned and operated retail arm of the LEGO Group, responsible for LEGO Brand Retail Stores (LBR) and LEGO.com. This role reports to the Director, Marketing Planning and Performance and sits in the Global Retail Marketing function. It works closely with all Marketing teams across LEGO Retail including Go-To-Market, Regional teams, Visual Merchandising and Retail Experiences. 

Do you have what it takes?

  •  Experience in marketing planning, strategy, or performance management 
  • Experience in driving omnichannel goals – especially .com traffic and store footfall 
  • Cross-channel planning experience with demonstrable experience of top and bottom of funnel marketing touchpoints 
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders 
  • Experienced in linking business growth objectives into team and channel deliverables setting targets (media channels and in-store activations) 
  • Analytical thinker able to create concise, data led narrative of how marketing initiatives are driving commercial business performance
