Job Description

Are you deeply passioned for people development & management?

Here's your chance to lead a creative Graphic Studio team that creates world-class product and packaging communication for the LEGO® Group.

We are looking for a Senior Manager for Graphic Studio within Our LEGO Agency (OLA) Visual Studio who is passionate in leading and developing both teams and individuals, while also playing an active role in creating a vibrant, engaging, and inspiring creative team culture across OLA Visual Studio.

We need a strong leader who is passionate about leading the team through constant challenges and opportunities. Someone who is capable of utilizing our capabilities and can optimize our ways of working, ensuring we constantly contribute to the overall growth and success of the LEGO Company.

There is a desire for more bravery and bolder ideas so it is an exciting time to join us in this role!

Core Responsibilities within this role

  • Heading up Graphic Studio and lead a team of about 12-14 creative graphic designers, all based in our HQ in Billund (DK).

  • Lead, coach and develop as well as provide the right conditions for your team to perform and deliver creative excellence.

  • Ensuring a positive and inspiring culture across teams where creatives thrive with high motivation and satisfaction in an open and trusted environment.

  • Bring fun, learnings and inspiration to the broader teams – building a vibrant OneTeam culture across Studios.

  • Be an active member of the OLA Visual Studio Leadership Team – adding value to the overall strategic direction, business initiatives and transformations.

  • Serve as a leadership role model, demonstrating bravery, focus, and curiosity in a creative and graphic environment, while inspiring others to do the same.

Play your part in our team succeeding

OLA Visual Studio (including Graphic Studio) is responsible for the product and packaging communication across the entire LEGO® portfolio – activating our LEGO® product, play experiences and passion points into appealing and vibrant visual storytelling and engaging communication. We are part of the bigger in-house creative agency (OLA) leading all the global creative work, campaigns, experiences and packaging for the LEGO Group.

The Graphic Studio, which consists of Graphic Designers, deliver visual product and packaging communication for some of our new and exciting franchises and play experiences. Their skills, energy and creative craftmanship is key to our collective success. This dedicated creative maker team, with strong graphic design disciplines, works directly with our Marketing teams and LEGO Designers to activate the uniqueness of each product, play, and passion.

Do you have what it takes?

  • A passionate leader with a proven track record in leading and creating positive, high performing creative environments.

  • Passionate about people development - a mentor that builds love and trust with your team, but also capable of providing direct and constructive feedback increasing the performance of the team.

  • Highly collaborative with influential impact and an open-minded approach – capable of working in a corporate environment with broad stakeholder landscape.

  • Whilst you are not responsible for the creative output, you are passionate about creativity and creative ideas and understand the importance of people’s well-being in getting “great” work.
