Reporting to the Senior Director of the Global Initiative team within the Social Responsibility (SR) organisation, this role will play a critical role in driving a portfolio of global initiatives – setting strategic direction, enabling execution, and innovating new initiatives - with a focus on equipping parents and caregivers to leverage the transformative power of play to support their children’s development.
Please note: No relocation assistance is offered for this position. The level of the role is senior manager specialist (individual contributor).

Initiative execution: Design, manage, and maintain the processes that enable these initiatives including working across supply chain, finance, business operations, regional SR teams, and other cross functional collaborators to ensure smooth execution, accountability, and transparency in our programs.
Pilot execution: As part of testing and expanding our approach to Playful Parenting, we are currently piloting and testing various avenues to drive impact for children, caregivers, and the LEGO Group alike. This role will lead this work and chart the path forward.
Regional coordination: Work closely with SR teams in Europe, the US, and Asia to support development of regional initiatives and strengthen impact through global coordination and clear measures of success.

This role will lead the global coordination and strategy for this program, currently active in the USA and China, and deliver as per plan.
Project Execution: Coordinating across the US and China programs, drive the program management of P4P. This will include logistics, procurement, contracting, materials planning and new product development. Play a key role in ensuring alignment from key partners including LEGO Group (supply chain, procurement, logistics, Government and Public Affairs, Communications), LEGO Foundation, research & evaluation partners, and external partners. Manage and enhance digital systems that improve effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
Evaluation & assessment: Oversee the evaluation of the program’s impact.
Support initiative implementation in the US and China: In partnership with US- and China-based leads, strengthen initiative, driving strategy, impact, evaluation, scale, program evolution and visibility.
Partnership Development: Assist with the development and maintenance of key partnerships for program expansion, aligned with ambitions of systemically changing health care provider discourse on play.
Promotion/Communications: Assist with the development and implement communication plan to raise visibility of program and disseminate learnings and results internally and externally. Will include website oversite and maintenance.
The role is critical to delivering our mission – inspiring and developing the builders of tomorrow. Children in local communities around the world have a right to quality learning through play experiences and it is our responsibility to make great things happen, bringing parents, families and employees on the journey with us.
