Job Description

Our focus is to ensure we have efficient financial processes, driving transparency in decision-making for management. You will play a vital role in this by taking a role in the team, actively collaborating broadly with finance colleagues across the company.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the team leader by taking ownership of Corporate Planning deliverables, ensuring strong execution of our financial planning processes and smooth collaboration with key team members.

  • Become a strong partner towards the rest of the organization and building a broad network allowing you to effectively engage and communicate with our key collaborators around the financial planning processes (e.g. timelines, process descriptions, planning principles and assumptions).

  • Working closely with the different areas of Finance in order to understand, challenge and consolidate their inputs into clear recommendations for senior leadership and thereby help steer the company.

  • Take ownership of the annual financial planning wheel and secure alignment with other key planning processes (e.g. Strategic Workforce Planning, Digital Portfolio Prioritization).

  • Support a learning mindset in the team and help to drive continuous improvement of our existing processes (e.g. run After Action Reviews, identify improvements and secure implementation).

  • Working with short-, medium- and long-term strategic priorities and support the continued development of our planning and forecasting processes.

Play your part in our team succeeding

Corporate Planning is a sub team within the Corporate Reporting & Planning team, which is responsible for financial performance management, including reporting, planning, estimates, and continuous process improvement. You will be part of a fun and proficient team consisting of 20 dedicated colleagues, of which 6 are in Corporate Planning. Our overall aim is to secure robust planning and forecasting processes providing senior leadership transparency into financial performance. We collaborate closely with all Finance departments across the organization. You will gain a lot of new learnings, get a deep end-to-end understanding of financial processes, and play an important part in delivering and elevating our financial planning and reporting.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in finance, business administration, MBA or similar.

  • Has demonstrated ability in a global organization, preferably with some experience within either FP&A or Business Finance.

  • Has extensive experience with financial planning and can take lead on the execution of the corporate financial planning and forecasting processes.

  • Delivers high-quality outputs with minimal direct supervision, demonstrating the ability to work independently while effectively motivating and guiding the team to achieve team priorities.

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships within the organization to extract valuable insights and foster seamless collaboration, demonstrating strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • ·Shows strong critical thinking capabilities allowing to constructive challenge initial assumptions, structure options and develop clear recommendations.

  • Demonstrates a growth mindset, with a strong desire to learn and develop, both personally and expertly.

  • Leads and drives strategic financial projects, contributing to the overall financial strategy and organizational objectives.
