At The LEGO Group, we believe in the transformative power of play and the magic it brings to creativity and imagination. We’re on a mission to inspire builders of all ages through engaging experiences that seamlessly connect the physical and digital worlds. If you’re a passionate Senior Experience Designer ready to lead the charge in conceptualizing, prototyping, and enhancing the LEGO® building experience, then this is your moment. You’ll craft intuitive and engaging experiences that empower builders to journey from inspiration to unboxing, building, and beyond, all while collaborating with a skilled team of designers, engineers, product managers, marketers, and researchers.

Join us in an agile, consumer-focused, and insights oriented environment where your design craft and collaborative spirit can truly shine!

Core Responsibilities

As a key player in our team, you’ll explore, prototype, and define concepts for innovating paper and digital building instructions.

Here’s what you’ll be up to:

  • Analyze current paper and digital building instructions, ensuring LEGO builders of all ages experience the joy of building and pride of creating
  • Co-design non-verbal, engaging, and inspiring building experiences that lead to consumer confidence and satisfaction
  • Coordinate and facilitate design sprints and collaborative workshops with partners across the LEGO Group
  • Lead workstreams independently, driving pilot projects and explorative design initiatives, ensuring full team participation and collaboration
  • Engage in the full process of consumer testing and involve partners from across the organization in debriefs and potential actions
  • Activate your Design Thinking and Design Process superpowers
  • Proactively connect the dots with colleagues across the product design value chain
  • Be an ambassador of Experience Design and support capability building and training efforts in this design field

  • Co-create experience design projects by leading with Design Thinking methodologies to foster innovation and collaboration.
