We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Innovation & Automation group within Analytics & Insights. Data plays a vital role in The LEGO Group’s ambition to become an increasingly digital and data-driven company. You will help shape how commercial performance is understood, communicated, and acted upon across the business, enabling better, faster, and more informed decision-making at all levels, including senior leadership.

This role sits within the Analytics Interface team, where we transform data, analytics, and AI capabilities into business-facing decision tools that drive real impact through adoption and usage.

Analytics & Insights - Innovation & Automation Team sits at the centre of a three-team value chain in M&C Analytics: Analytics Engineering builds the data foundation, we build the AI and automation capability engine, Analytics Interface delivers the business products.

Core Responsibilities

As an experienced Data Specialist, you will operate as a highly independent contributor who owns analytics products. You will influence customers and teams strongly.

You will:

  • Design, build, and own business-facing analytics products (e.g., dashboards, Databricks AI Genies, and AI-powered interfaces) that support commercial decision-making
  • Translate complex business needs into intuitive, scalable analytics solutions aligned with real decision workflows
  • Ensure alignment and consistency of business metrics, translating technical definitions into clear business language
  • Develop and continuously improve user-centric analytics experiences, ensuring insights are accessible, actionable, and widely embraced
  • Drive the development of AI-powered analytics capabilities, including conversational analytics, automated insights, recommendations, and intelligent workflows
  • Collaborate closely with Analytics Engineering and Innovation & Automation teams to ensure seamless delivery across the data value chain
  • Act as a key partner to commercial stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations), translating requirements into production-ready solutions
  • Configure and align metric views and reporting structures to support business-critical decisions and performance tracking
  • Contribute to AI interaction design, including prompt design, agent behavior, and human-AI workflows
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and adoption, ensuring solutions are used, trusted, and delivering measurable value
  • Continuously iterate and improve products based on user feedback, usage patterns, and evolving business needs
  • Support the creation of globally scalable analytics products, reducing fragmentation and enabling a standardized data landscape

Do You Have What It Takes?

We seek a candidate who combines strong technical skills with business understanding and a product-focused approach.

The ideal candidate brings:

  • Proven experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data product development
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI and Databricks (or similar platforms), delivering scalable solutions in enterprise environments
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or Python
  • Shown ability to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, metric definition, and analytics best practices
  • Interest or experience in AI-driven analytics and decision intelligence
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
