Job Description

Content Hub aims to be the most playful and user-centric content discovery experience that brings the LEGO® brand and its stories to life; connecting value chains and empowering all LEGO® teams and beyond to easily discover, experience and collaborate on digital content through a single, trusted, and secure source. 

In the team you will be working closely with other engineers across the tech stack doing pair programming and collaborating on finishing stuff together. We work closely with our sister teams who provide data for our presentation layer of Content Hub, to ensure the best asset discovery experience for the users. 

Core Responsibilities  

Beyond active contribution to the Consumer & Marketing Platform Technology codebase, we expect from you:    

  • Leadership in Development Practices:Drive the adoption of best practices in development, mentoring engineers to improve their skills and efficiency. 

  • Strategic Feature Delivery:Architect and deliver complex features within a “you build it – you run it” philosophy, ensuring robustness and scalability. 

  • Quality and Security Focus:Champion quality and security across the codebase, implementing test and automation strategies as needed. 

  • Continuous Improvement:Spearhead initiatives to enhance Continuous Integration/Deployment/Release methodologies, optimizing our delivery pipeline. 

  • Ownership and Accountability:Take full ownership of projects from conception to deployment, driving them to successful completion.

Product Delivery Technology is a crucial component of the Consumer and Marketing Technology organization within Digital Technology. Our department is dedicated to the creation of cutting-edge digital products, spanning product lifecycle management, workflow management and digital content creation and distribution. We operate at the intersection of innovation, creativity, and technology, committed to delivering solutions that drive excellence across different domains in the LEGO Group.  

In our area we are flexible and are open to help out in other teams and we expect you to help out in the full stack when it is needed or when priorities change. 

Do you have what it takes? 

  • Extensive experience with Typescript: Proven track record in development using Typescript. 

  • API development expertise: Advanced skills in API development and management, including GraphQL. 

  • Cloud Mastery: Deep experience with AWS/Azure or other cloud providers, leveraging their capabilities to enhance our infrastructure. 

  • CI/CD: Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize CI/CD processes. 

  • Data Integration Proficiency: Strong background in data integration and database management. 

  • Team mentorship: Strong ability to mentorcolleagues, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. 

  • Innovative Mindset: Eagerness to learn and challenge the status quo, driving continuous improvement. 

  • Infrastructure-as-Code Expertise: Advanced experience with IaC tooling, like Terraform or CDK, streamlining infrastructure management. 

  • Distributed Systems Knowledge:Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture patterns. 

Nice to have: 

  • Java/C# and/or Rust Experience 

  • Search Solutions Management:Ability to implement and manage search solutions with OpenSearch/Elastic.
