We are thrilled to be hiring for a Senior Associate, Paid Social Media Activation (Retail). The position is part of our new worldwide media activation group and supports building the future of digital advertising. The Global Media Activation team leads the way in crafting the ways the LEGO Group connects with kids, parents, and fans through outstanding digital advertising. This newly formed team is essential in developing the LEGO Group's advertising excellence.

This role is pivotal in bringing that vision to life, acting as the go-to person for paid digital advertising campaign execution, planning, and performance. By supporting our LEGO media and integrating global strategy, this position helps optimize media spend. It improves campaign efficiency and builds strong internal processes that contribute to crafting The LEGO Group’s digital efficiency.

Core Responsibilities

  • Media Strategy & Vision – Support in driving and implementing the LEGO Group’s selection of key initiatives using Paid Social, ensuring alignment with brand, marketing, and business objectives across channels and other teams. Including nurturing a data-driven, consumer-centric approach to media planning and buying that drives both long-term brand equity and short-term performance.
  • Investment Stewardship & Governance - Establish ensure global standard are followed and met, delivering the strongest return the for the LEGO Groups
  • Stakeholder & Executive Influence - Serve as LEGO Retail’s subject matter authority for paid social, engaging with leadership. Brand Managers, key collaborators, and external partners to drive alignment and advocacy.
  • Innovation, Tech & Ecosystem Strategy - Stay at the forefront of industry trends, technologies, and platforms (e.g., AI, retail media, cookie deprecation) to future-proof our digital media strategy.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Shown experience running paid social performance campaigns across major platforms, including YouTube, Meta, and TikTok.
  • Strong background in digital media planning or account management, with some hands-on campaign activation experience.
  • Proficient in budget allocation, campaign pacing, platform strategy, and planning across multiple channels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of translating strategic goals into actionable media plans.
  • Exceptional executive presence, with the ability to influence key collaborators and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for building inclusive teams, developing talent, and encouraging a high-performance culture.
  • A dedication to purposeful, ethical marketing in line with our values and mission.
  • English language both written and spoken at a professional proficiency level is important.
  • Ability to work 3 days from our office in Copenhagen (2 days working from home)
