We are looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel to join our Legal, Compliance and Risk Management team.
This role will provide expertise in Retail Real Estate and Commercial Law as well as other exciting subjects within the EMEA region!

As part of the Legal, Compliance and Risk Management department (LCR), you will provide legal services to the LEGO Group across the broader areas of Corporate and Commercial law, especially related to the LEGO Retail strategic projects, their real estate portfolio development, LEGO® branded venues and attractions in EMEA.
Other areas covered in the team that might be relevant for this role from time to time: Commercial and Procurement Contracts within the Digital space and Consumer Digital, advice on compliance with consumer protection, advice on technology regulations such as AI and other topical digital matters.
The Senior Corporate Counsel position is part of the Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management department for “Digital, Ecommerce and Marketplaces” team that supports our LEGO Retail business, mainly in global online direct-to-consumer (D2C) operations, digital organisation, and online IP enforcement. This role focuses primarily but not exclusively on legal matters related to our LEGO® branded venues and attractions and the related real estate portfolio development. The role involves frequent collaboration with other legal colleagues and regional teams.
Success in this role requires a strong interest, curiosity and experience in the real estate laws, lease and other venue related transactions, preferably in multiple geographies within EMEA, and providing legal support to the business in these areas. Interest and experience in legal support to D2C sector, along with a keen curiosity about privacy, marketing, and consumer laws at EU level as well as an ability to think globally in terms of legal solutions applicable across markets are considered an advantage. The nature of operating attractions to consumers demands quick decision-making and rapid assessments, so agility is important. Strong partnering skills are also essential, as you will work directly with various business teams.
Legal law school degree (at Master level e.g. Cand. Jur, Cand. Merc. Jur, J.D., LL.M. or equivalent) combined with;
