Core Responsibilities
As a Quality Manager Specialist, you play an enabling role in launching feasible, lovable and viable products. You are safeguarding and assuring quality in our product portfolio throughout the product lifecycle. You create and drive results through strong collaboration and structured approach and have strong engagement with colleagues, cross functional teams and stakeholders. Act as a sparring partner for Technical Project Managers and R&D leads and drivers.
Share knowledge with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and collaborators.
Encourage and support innovation with practical tools and approaches aligned with our objectives.
Secure the planning and implementation of Quality activities to craft the right quality output.
Facilitate the translation of ideas & concept requirements into clearly defined targets and ensure their execution through the Product/Technology lifecycle.
Actively seek comprehensive understanding of issues, opportunities, and risk impact from a Quality point of view.
Build an understanding of Quality Governance within the LEGO group, Corporate Quality, and your own functional area partners.
Engage and build Quality Assurance capabilities with colleagues across Product Development, Engineering, and Quality teams in areas of APQP.
Play your part in our team succeeding
You will join our Quality in Development - Technology development team in Billund. Our team oversees Quality Assurance and Risk mitigation in Technology Development programs.
We ensure a high-quality play and learning experience for all LEGO® products.
We provide support to development teams in business, creative, and technical fields. Our goal is to develop a proactive quality approach that is based on play and learning requirements and data-driven decision-making.
This position is in Billund, Denmark and there is no relocation assistance offered for this role.
Do you have what it takes?
We imagine that you enjoy working in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment. You possess a positive mentality that motivates and engages others, while using your curiosity and focus to understand and progress in the projects. You are used to driving projects with a structured approach combined with engaging communication skills. Moreover, you have:
3+ years of experience in Manufacturing and understanding the dynamics of technology development and implementation in such an environment.
Passion for Quality Management and the ability to translate structured procedures and methodologies into a good communication flow with multi-functional teams.
Knowledge and/or experience within Technology & Product Development processes.
Methodology knowledge such as DMAIC, DFSS, APQP, VDA, Project Management & Agile.
Ability to activate statistical tools and advanced quality tools (QFD, FMEA, SPC, …) as both enablers to secure play experience and in tough trade-off discussions
Proficiency in English – both oral and written.
