Join us as the Marketing Lead for Preschool (4+) in a 12-month journey and help shape the future of play with the LEGO Group!


Core Responsibilities

As a Marketing Lead, Preschool (4+), you will play a pivotal role in shaping our portfolio and marketing strategies. Here are your core responsibilities:

  • Drive the portfolio and marketing vision as part of the 4+ Lead Team, collaborating with key partners.

  • Build strong partnerships and foster great collaboration with the Head of Product, Audience Lead homegrown franchise and Entertainment IP Teams for Preschool Products.

  • Lead the Marketing Agenda for 4+, including Preschool communication playbooks and collaborations with selected Preschool IP Partners.

  • Be a trusted sparring partner and strong collaborator for our Creative Lead and Design Team advancing Value Proposition, Business Case and Portfolio.

  • Transition global campaigns to impactful local execution and advance portfolio deployment with Market & Channel Organization colleagues.

  • Evaluate business performance and use insights to shape product and marketing development.

The Preschool Team recruits and attracts the youngest and cutest builders of them all. Our audience starts at age 1.5 and reaches to 5+. As part of the 4+ franchise, you are playing a central role in helping kids (and their parents) transition from LEGO DUPLO big bricks to small bricks or experience the LEGO Brand for the very first time. We are creating a very special value proposition and designing an experience that is age- and skill-appropriate for small hands. Delivering the most attractive Passion Points and hottest Preschool IPs powers our business. This allows us to attract low-affinity shoppers (the parents and gift-givers) and retain excited repeat builders. Being a part of the Lead team, the Marketing Lead, plays a pivotal role in creating the best experiences for kids, crafting a collaborative atmosphere for our internal Design and Marketing teams, driving cross-franchise and external IP partners and championing the Preschool business in the LEGO Group.


Please note: This is a position based in Billund, Denmark. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). This position is Senior Manager Specialist level. Relocation support is not offered for this role.


Do you have what it takes?

  • Significant experience in marketing, preferably in a global or regional role, high business sense and a proven track record of communication and/or product development

  • Experience in working with IP partners is beneficial

  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a dynamic, cross-functional & international team

  • Results Oriented – Experienced in decision making, analytics, time management, and marketing innovation skills.

  • Consumer-centric with curiosity to try new things and evaluate business potential, turning findings into action.

  • Effective relationship builder and negotiator with demonstrated strong examples of collaboration and followership with a diverse group of team members and partners across multiple business areas, geographies and agency partners.


Beneficial Skills:

  • Preferably High-level Proficiency Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Power Point, Google Analytics and Power BI.

  • Experience in working insights-based, running research projects and turning them into actions
