LEGO® Design is the home of more than 700 Designers of all trades and the nucleus of innovation for the LEGO Group. Our mission is to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.
You will join the LEGO® Interaction Design Team in Billund, Denmark. We are a team of passionate designers, who are working across a broad number of projects including digital/physical products. You will have the opportunity to turn your ideas and concepts into concrete solutions which will impact kids around the globe. We strive to build exciting, usable, accessible, and engaging play experiences.
Drive and support interactive play innovation for both new product experiences in development and for existing products already live in the market by working closely together with model designers, marketeers, app developers and more.
Ideally you have an educational background in Interaction Design or equivalent. Moreover, you have:
Some years of experience designing and conceptualizing connected toys and/or play experiences.
Ability to program and develop testable and playable prototypes using your coding capabilities. We do not anticipate that you can deliver shippable products – our emphasis is to be able to quickly externalize play experiences and validate through kids testing.
Theoretical background in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Human Computer Interaction, UX, Computer Science, Architecture, Game Design, or another relevant field.
Experience in designing, testing, and validating based on an iterative prototyping approach.
A systematic approach to design and the ability to prioritize your work sharply and according to current business needs.
