We are looking for a strategic and people-centered Head of Workplace Operations to lead daily operations and facility excellence across our Billund HQ and Nordic offices. In this role, you will manage key IFM partnerships, develop a high-performing team, and ensure seamless, high-quality services that elevate the employee experience for 5,000+ colleagues. Please note: This role is at Senior Manager level, and we do not offer relocation support.
 

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for workplace operations in HQ (Billund) + Nordics (Helsinki, Oslo and Stockholm) supporting over 5,000 salaried colleagues

  • Responsible for managing Integrated Facility Management (IFM) partnerships within Billund, ensuring vendors effectively implement workplace operations and enhance employee experience in line with established Service Level Agreements for Soft Services.

  • Lead and develop a Billund-based team, driving consistency and service excellence and optimizing team structure for the best workplace support, operational efficiencies and economies of scale

  • Support the day-to-day operations in the offices as well as ensuring a structured and caring leadership approach with focus on well-being, success and motivation

  • Partner with key customers internally as externally to enable an effective and people-focused workplace.

  • Ensure timely communication of changes impacting both colleagues and employees to partner.

  • Provide subject matter expertise into the development of all new workplace projects within region from an operations perspective

  • Collaborate closely across the globe with your internal Workplace Operations colleagues

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate is an experienced people leader combined with relevant project management and commercial experience. It will be an advantage if you bring facility and workplace related experience as well. In addition, we expect that you have experience with:

  • Large international organizations

  • Managing external service partners – both operationally and performance, preferably an IFM (Integrated Facility Management) provider would be beneficial.

  • Experience with bigger construction projects/new workplaces - as part of the decision group or similar will be an advantage

  • Community building and engagement
     

As a person you have strong communication skills with the ability to work with and navigate a diverse group of partners up to the highest level. You bring a strategic mind-set in an operational context and a proactive and positive minded approach to problem solving that takes into consideration the needs of business, employees and partner expectations.
