In this 12-month temporary position, you will drive activities and projects related to enabling and transforming processes in the global department of Manufacturing Design & Implementation (MD&I). This requires close collaboration with team members within the MD&I as well as outside to ensure alignment, transparency, and shared ownership of goals. More specifically, you will:
Develop, implement and maintain change management initiatives that support processes, frameworks, tools and governance structure adoption, thus improving ways of working in projects, and reinforce a culture of continuous improvement.
Drive high-impact change initiatives by using project/innovation/portfolio management methodologies such as implementation of industry standards like technology and manufacturing readiness level framework, LEGO® Project model, laying the foundation of project management etc.
Create training material, plan and organize trainings and communication supporting change management initiatives.
Support LEGO® Continuous Improvement initiatives across the department.
You will join the Moulding Service Technology & Enabling Team, playing a vital role in MD&I department by supporting operational excellence and continuously improving ways of working. The team is located in Billund, Denmark, and consists of 17 highly skilled colleagues having diverse backgrounds in terms of education, working experience, nationalities, etc.
By connecting our enabling and transformation initiatives with our short- and long-term strategy deployment, the team’s purpose is to ensure our transformation initiatives deliver real, valuable and lasting impact. The focus is on strengthening and refining our ways of working, processes and change management
The ideal candidate has at minimum a bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Process Engineering, Tech-Based Business Development, Marine Engineering, or an equivalent engineering field. In addition, you have:
Proven 3+ years’ experience within strategy, transformation, or change management execution in Operations.
Project Management and/or Portfolio Management experience from an engineering environment.
Understanding of operational excellence principles and ability to standardize, optimize and implement processes efficiently.
Ability to create and maintain process related infrastructure such as strategy deployment, process framework, etc.
High adaptability and problem-solving skills in fast-paced, ambiguous, evolving environments.
Strong communication skills as well as interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Self-driven, proactive, structured and continuous improvement work approach.
Proficient in English both written and verbal.
Furthermore, it would be an advantage, if you have:
Project Management Professional, Lean Six Sigma, and/or change management certifications (e.g., Prosci).
Experience working in or with global, matrixed organisations.
