Job Description
Are you ready to shape the future of large-scale global expansion?
This role sits at the heart of our global factory expansions, setting commercial direction and governance standards for major construction investments worldwide. As a leader of the team, you will ensure validated early estimates, global standards, cost transparency throughout the project, value creation, and disciplined delivery across a complex, international project portfolio.
Provide cost and commercial governance for major capacity expansion and construction projects across multiple regions.
Own the end-of-the-end project cost control process, including cost estimates, cost breakdown structures, forecasting, change management and reporting.
Deliver early investment estimates to support future capacity expansion programs and strategic decision-making.
Ensure transparent, accurate, and timely cost reporting at both project and organizational levels.
Drive and standardize global Value Engineering activities, including reporting on value creation and savings.
Support Procurement with commercial input and sourcing strategies for large-scale projects.
Develop, deliver, and maintain cost and commercial management training across the organization.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Commercial Managers located across the world
You will lead a distributed team of Commercial Managers, operating across regions and time zones. This is a highly collaborative role, requiring strong leadership, partner management, and cultural awareness. You will partner daily with Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, Finance, and external consultants balancing both industry standards and internal best practices while acting as a trusted advisor and setting the standard for commercial excellence across our global construction portfolio.
Established experience in construction commercial leadership, with experience driving cost management, governance, and value creation across large-scale building development or construction programs.
Demonstrated success leading global, multi-functional teams, setting clear direction, developing talent, and operating effectively within international, matrix organizations.
Deep expertise in project controls, planning, and reporting frameworks, with the ability to design and govern robust Project Management and Planning systems—not just use them.
Comprehensive understanding of the construction lifecycle, including design development, permitting, contractual and legal frameworks, and sustainability requirements in major capital projects.
Strong proficiency with industry-standard tools such as MS Project, BIM, and cost management platforms, applied to enable transparency, predictability, and informed decision-making.
A balanced, director-level mindset—combining analytical rigor with sound commercial judgment—to challenge assumptions, manage risk, and influence senior leaders with confidence and credibility.
A global outlook and hands-on engagement style, with the flexibility to travel internationally (approximately 45 days per year) to support key programs, governance forums, and team development.
