Job Description

Are you eager to merge creativity with technical design, transforming partner collaborations into real-world products?  

We’re looking for a versatile Designer to join our Branded Partnership & Licensing team, supporting collaborations with global partners to bring innovative projects to life. This role offers the opportunity to blend hands-on 3D work with conceptual design, where no projects are the same!  

This is a temporary role throughout 2026.  

No relocation assistance is offered for this position. 

 

Core Responsibilities  

Support product development and asset creation across a variety of partner projects by: 

  • Developing, refining, and preparing 3D design assets for external partner use, ensuring quality and production readiness 

  • Supporting Branded Partnerships and Licensing Creative Leads in design kick-offs, partner collaborations, and internal workshops 

  • Contributing to early-stage ideation through sketches, mock-ups, and concept visualization 

  • Participating in sample reviews and iterating on designs based on feedback 

  • Collaborating proactively with cross-functional teams.

Licensing and Extended Line (LEL) helps build new touch points for the LEGO ecosystem through licensed consumer products, branded collaborations, publishing as well as unique brick-based products and experiences exclusive to LEGO Retail. The creative team is a diverse, multidisciplinary group who works closely with the internal design organization as well as external partners. Our products and experiences strive to deepen LEGO fandom as well as amplify the LEGO Play experiences to new products and spaces.  

This role as a Designer in Branded Partnerships and Licensing will focus on creating assets for partner collaborations and support the Creative Leads in the entire partner collaboration process – from first kick-off meeting to the final product.  

 

Do you have what it takes?  

The journey that brings you into this role can vary. Whether you have a background within product design, technical design, industrial design or similar, we would love to hear from you. Most importantly, you bring a proven ability to create, collaborate, and drive design work forward within defined frameworks and adapt to different partner needs.  

We are looking for: 

  • Strong ability to visualize and communicate ideas through sketches, mock-ups, and presentations 

  • Experience working with 3D design and preparing assets for production or external use 

  • Ability to plan and manage your own workload, with an understanding of timelines and processes 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined methodologies and guidelines 

  • Comfortable working across a variety of design tasks  across the entire partner collaboration process  

  • A collaborative mindset and ability to adapt to changing scopes and partner requirements 

  • Passion for design, trends, and industry developments 

  • Skills in Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint and 3D tools such as Siemens NX or Rhino.
