Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements including in-bound and out-bound licensing agreements, game development agreements, talent agreements, and procurement agreements.
Assisting in the clearance and protection of the company’s intellectual property rights in marketing context, including freedom to operate searches and patent, design, trademark and copyright advice.
Identifying and building working relationships with leaders and decision-makers across the organization.
Securing alignment between the partner’s needs and legal services and managing expectations.
Supporting legal tasks in areas of the law relevant to the LEGO Group, such as Commercial Law (with a focus on contracts), Intellectual Property, Advertising and Marketing Law (including influencers).
Developing a legal business partnering mentality.
In this position, you join our Legal, Compliance and Risk Management team (LCR) alongside more than a hundred highly skilled colleagues in locations around the world. Rooted in the PMD
Digital & Product Support legal team and based in Billund, Denmark, you provide legal services to business units within the Product and Marketing Development area of the LEGO Group. Here, you stay ahead of relevant legislation in various legal areas such as contracts, intellectual property, data protection law, digital compliance and marketing law, primarily regarding
consumer-engaging initiatives.
Our ambition is to bring LEGO products and experiences closer to even more children across the globe. You will play an important role in protecting the famous LEGO brand against risk of
legal harm while also helping to ensure that we develop and remain relevant and “cool” to core LEGO users.
MA in law, LLB, Juris Doctorate, MSc in business administration and commercial law or similar.
Minimum of 3-5 years of (postgraduate) legal experience from an in-house role at a global company or mid-level private practice position.
Exceptional written and verbal communicator with strong legal drafting skills.
Experience with consumer protection, contract law, and intellectual property.
Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Legal curiosity as well as appetite and ability to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge.
A positive approach and a distinct can-do attitude.
Experience in global or high-value brand organizations.
Phenomenal at collaborating across local and global teams.
English to an advanced level.
