Job Description

As a Compliance Manager, this dynamic role is at the heart of ensuring that every LEGO product meets the highest standards of safety and quality. Core Responsibilities

  • Chemical evaluation and approval of recipes for raw materials
  • Order tests, approve of test reports, upload test reports, release certificates
  • Update and maintain compliance master data in SAP and other systems, and ensure correct data tracking and reporting
  • Manage Purchase orders vs testing laboratories
  • Ensure that samples for testing are sent to testing laboratories
  • Update and maintain master data in SAP EHSM and FIORI ensuring correct reporting and communication to stakeholders
  • Maintain legal list for Occupational Exposure Limit evaluation and prohibited chemical substances
  • Conduct test in SAP for Incident management, Risk assessment, and Chemical management
  • Maintain translation of master data in the system
  • Ad-hoc support

This role will support two departments within the Corporate Quality & EHS organisation:

Product Safety & Compliance (PS&C) which establishes internal rules for safe and compliant LEGO products, and approves all used materials and elements and ensures they meet or exceed global legal requirements; and

EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) which provides safe and healthy work environments and contributes to improving the well-being of our employees.

Do you have what it takes

  • BSc/MSc degree in chemistry/chemical engineering or similar
  • Ability to work structured and focused to reach approval deadlines and deliver with the best quality
  • Ability to follow and improve processes
  • General IT experience (e.g. MS Office)
  • Experience from regulatory compliance in the consumer product sector
  • Interest and basic knowledge of chemistry in consumer products
  • Experience in SAP and handling of Master data
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal

The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
