Then join us as Building Experience Specialist (BX). You will be responsible for delivering outstanding building instructions, ensuring that our customers have the world´s best physical and digital building experiences!
Core Responsibilities
With an end-to-end perspective, you will craft, develop and test high quality building instructions with a strong focus on ensuring a natural build flow that fits the age of the target group, their motor and cognitive skills. This includes:
building both physical and digital models to ensure a smooth and targeted building flow and finalizing the layout of the building instruction
being a children’s ambassador in the development process and challenging complexity, age marking, layout artwork etc. accordingly
consistently delivering high quality in all sub-results as well as in the final building instruction
helping bring new building instruction experience concepts to life in both the physical and digital world and continuously looking for opportunities to improve the building experience
participating in kids tests and sharing relevant findings with all collaborators
initiating continuous improvement activities/projects to ensure constant optimization of work processes and tools
sharing knowledge and relevant insights with all stakeholders and collaborators
integrating results and observations in your work and challenging decisions that conflict with our standard process

The LEGO Building Experience Department delivers digital components and world class building experiences for both the physical and digital instructions for the LEGO builders of tomorrow.

Do you have what it takes?
You are passionate about LEGO® bricks and the LEGO building system!
There could be several entries into this role. You might have a background as a 2D/3D graphic designer, design engineer, construction architect or similar background and/or education.
We imagine that you bring:
a strong understanding of model construction and various target groups
experience with IT tools (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, SAP, InDesign, LDD)
detail oriented and always integrating quality assurance in everything you do
effective communication and collaboration skills, including proficiency in English
experience driving small projects
The following would also be an advantage:
proven skills in 3D and 2D tools and digital development
knowledge about agile/scrum principles
solid knowledge of children’s motor skills and play patterns
knowledge of translating guidelines and design principles into concrete output
