Job Description

Be part of our Product Delivery Technology team — where innovation meets purpose. Help shape solutions that support product lifecycle, content creation, and global marketing across the LEGO Group.

We're seeking a skilled Backend Engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll work in a “you build it – you run it” setup, delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable features using technologies like C#, .NET, AWS, and Kubernetes.

Please note: This is er temporary position of 12 months and we don't offer relocation support for this role.

Core Responsibilities

In addition to actively contributing to the Consumer & Marketing Platform Technology codebase, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with teammates to continuously improve development practices.
  • Deliver features with full ownership, from idea to deployment and operation.
  • Build secure, high-quality solutions using test-driven development and test automation.
  • Work within CI/CD pipelines to ensure frequent and reliable delivery.
  • Maintain and evolve the system’s data models to meet business needs.
  • Take full ownership of your work, from planning through production support.

Product Delivery Technology is a vital part of the Consumer and Marketing Technology area within Digital Technology. We build digital products that span product lifecycle management, workflow automation, and content creation/distribution.

We work where innovation, creativity, and technology meet — delivering solutions that drive excellence across the LEGO Group’s global domains.

Do you have what it takes?

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in API development and management.
  • Skilled with strongly typed programming languages (C#, .NET, Java, Typescript, etc)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with data integration and relational or NoSQL databases. Experience with containers (i.e. Kubernetes and Docker
  • A strong team-first mentality and the ability to collaborate.
  • Curiosity and courage to challenge the status quo and learn continuously.

Bonus skills

  • Experience with Elastic (Elasticsearch).
  • Experience implementing and improving CI/CD pipelines (i.e Github Actions, Gitlab, CodePipeline, Jenkins, etc) .
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
