The LEGO Group is seeking an Associate Content Strategist to help us craft innovative content strategies that engage and inspire young fans across our platforms. Please note: This position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark (also open to Billund). Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home & 3 days in-office. Relocation support is not provided for this role 

 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Supports the development and implementation of content strategies to drive engagement and retention on owned channels (kids.lego.com, LEGO Play app). This includes conducting desk research, staying updated on trends in experiences and the wider content and children’s media landscape, visualizing strategic recommendations, and bringing fresh ideas to the team. 

  • Creates commissioning briefs and oversees content production for smaller projects, consolidating feedback from partners. Provides editorial feedback and strategic input based on a deep knowledge of current children’s media and content, child safety, legal, and brand guidelines. 

  • Orchestrates collaboration with Marketing, External Communications, and Fan Creator teams to improve outreach of our content. 

  • Monitors content performance metrics, gathers insights, and provides recommendations for optimizing owned channel content based on data-driven analysis. 

  • Collaborates with digital product teams, ensuring frequent check-ins, promoting a one-team culture, spotting content test opportunities, and keeping the team updated with developments. 

  • Helps maintain and implement promotional plans/editorial strategy for the owned digital channels.

We are looking for an Associate Content Strategist with a proactive approach, to support the development of new content strategies and formats that engage and retain young fans on our Owned platforms (kids.lego.com, LEGO Play app).
 

In the Content & Editorial team, we aim to build lasting connections with current and future LEGO fans by ideating, commissioning, creating and coordinating inspirational, audience-first, editorialised content. We are responsible for experiences that provide inspiration to LEGO fans of all ages and these experiences are imperative to the wider Digital Ecosystem that builds deeper consumer engagement and improves consumer lifetime value.
 

We want to be at the forefront of digital kids experiences in the world, and we have a strong portfolio that keeps evolving to ensure this. Our extraordinary LEGO content plays a key role in engaging and retaining kids on our platforms and you will work closely with Content Strategists and Senior Content Strategists to maintain and evolve our high editorial standards.
 
 

Do you have what it takes? 

  • Experience in digital content and children's media; whether agency or production studio 

  • Passion for children’s media, social content, and fandoms 

  • Keeps a keen eye on trends, ready to translate these into new content ideas 

  • Creates effective presentations to communicate strategic recommendations  

  • High level of initiative, a proactive self-starter with a positive attitude, bringing new ideas and energy 

  • Collaborative teammate who functions well in an international team that is constantly evolving 

  • Patient and optimistic creative problem-solver  

  • Verbal and written fluency in English, we see other language skills as a benefit and would love to hear about them
     

Nice to have 

  • Personal or professional experience with fandom, fan communities, or fan art/UGC 

  • Curiosity about using data and tools to visualise insights
