Technical Writer (Medical Devices, Herlev)

Job summary

A technical writer is needed to support the medical devices team in Herlev, Denmark. The role involves contributing to the design and development of products and systems, with a focus on improving existing documentation and ensuring quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technical writer or in technical documentation, preferably in the medical device sector.
• Educational background in technical writing, technical communication, engineering, linguistics, or a related field is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Astoria or Tridion is required.
• Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, R&D, marketing, and regulatory affairs to gather information and produce clear documentation for stakeholders.
• Create, update, and release technical documents such as user manuals and product data sheets.
• Assist in translation and localization efforts by preparing source content and coordinating reviews.
• Manage daily documentation tasks and provide updates on progress to the team.
• Adhere to corporate documentation standards and contribute to knowledge management.
• Identify and implement improvements in documentation quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal procedures in documentation development.
