Are you looking for new opportunities to gain hands-on experience in project management while expanding your professional network? Become a long-term volunteer as a Project Assistant for TechBBQ’s Life Science x Deep Tech project!

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team from March 1st, contributing 15 to 25 hours per week until the end of October.

Since 2013, TechBBQ has worked to support and strengthen the Nordic ecosystem for entrepreneurship and innovation, rooted in the core Nordic values of openness, inclusion, trust, and collaboration. TechBBQ is Scandinavia's largest startup & innovation summit!

Your Role:

As a Project Assistant for TechBBQ’s Life Science x Deep Tech project, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning and execution of one of the most exciting and impactful industry tracks at TechBBQ 2026. You will gain valuable insights into event management, stakeholder relations, and project coordination within the Nordic Life Science startup ecosystem.

Your Tasks May Include:

• Coordinating project planning and execution across multiple initiatives

• Organizing and developing the pitch competition

• Managing exhibitor campaigns and investor initiatives

• Engaging with stakeholders, including startups, partners, and investors

• Assisting with event logistics, planning, and execution

• Supporting floor and stage management during the Summit

• Reporting and post-event evaluation

• Handling various ad hoc tasks

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

• Is motivated, proactive, and eager to learn

• Is an excellent communicator both in writing and in person

• Works in a structured and organized manner

• Has experience in project management and/or event planning

• Knowledge of stakeholder engagement and partnership management

• Has a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation
