Program PMO Lead – Transformation Program
Reporting to: SVP Transformation & PMO
Dotted line: Program Sponsor / Program Director
Role Overview
The Program PMO Lead is accountable for transparency, governance, and delivery discipline for one of Nuuday’s six major transformation programs.
The role ensures the program is planned and executed in a simple, fact-based, and decision-oriented way, fully aligned with Nuuday’s transformation standards.
The Program PMO Lead acts as the single source of truth on status, risks, dependencies, and value, enabling timely decisions by the Program Steering Committee, central Transformation PMO, and ELT where required.
This role is not administrative. It is a hands-on delivery role with a strong mandate to challenge plans, surface issues early, and keep the program on track
Key Responsibilities:
Program Transparency & Reporting
- Own end-to-end visibility of program status, risks, dependencies, milestones, and value
- Provide clear, concise, and fact-based reporting to the Program Steering Committee and central Transformation PMO
- Ensure issues are surfaced early, with clear options and recommendations
- Support escalations to ELT when decisions or trade-offs are required
Program Planning & Control
- Maintain an integrated view across all program workstreams
- Support the Program Director in structuring scope, phasing, and delivery approach
- Drive prioritisation, sequencing, and resource alignment within the program
- Track progress against plan and intervene early when delivery drifts
Governance & Ways of Working
- Run the program governance cadence (workstream forums, steering committees)
- Ensure steering meetings are decision-driven, not status updates
- Track decisions, actions, risks, and issues with clear ownership and follow-up
- Ensure alignment with Nuuday’s transformation governance and reporting standards
Risk, Dependency & Value Management
- Proactively identify and manage cross-workstream and cross-program dependencies
- Challenge assumptions on scope, timelines, resourcing, and benefits
- Track benefit realisation and alignment with approved business cases
- Provide early warning on delivery, cost, or value risks
Interface to Central Transformation PMO
- Act as the primary interface between the program and the central Transformation PMO
- Provide timely, consistent input to portfolio-level reporting
- Highlight integration risks and dependencies with other transformation programs
- Apply portfolio standards pragmatically, without adding unnecessary complexity
Joint / Cross-Entity Activities (if applicable)
- Maintain visibility of any ServCo–InfraCo or cross-entity activities within the program
- Support joint governance and escalation of cross-company risks
Key Stakeholders
- ELT
- SVP Transformation & PMO
- Program Sponsor
- Program Director
- Program Steering Committee
- Workstream Leads
- Central Transformation PMO
- Relevant functional leaders (Commercial, IT, Network, Operations, Finance, People)
Experience & Profile
- 6–10 years’ experience in PMO, program management, or transformation delivery
- Proven track record supporting complex, multi-workstream programs
- Strong experience working with senior stakeholders and steering committees
- Comfortable challenging plans and assumptions in a constructive way
- Structured, analytical, and clear in communication
- Experience in telecoms, IT, infrastructure, or regulated environments is an advantage
What Good Looks Like
- One trusted version of the truth on program status at all times
- Steering committees that take clear decisions and resolve issues early
- Risks and dependencies identified and managed before they become critical
- Delivery confidence from sponsors, ELT, and the central Transformation PMO
- Program delivers agreed outcomes and value, not just activities
