Drive the transformation from legacy BI to AI-enabled, governed and scalable reporting

We are looking for a capable leader to head our BI & Reporting function in Finance. You will play a central role in shaping the future of data-driven decision-making in TDC NET and lead the transition towards Data-as-a-Product methodologies and modern, AI-supported reporting.

As Head of BI & Reporting, you will set the direction for strategic, tactical, operational and self-service reporting, build the operating model, develop the team, and ensure effective collaboration across Finance, Business, and AI & Digital Innovation.

About the job

You will develop and implement a vision for AI-enabled reporting and automation to support strategic priorities. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Set the Direction: Vision & Roadmap. Define the vision and roadmap for AI-enabled reporting, automation, and modern tooling, including the adoption of a Data-as-a-Product mindset.
  •  Deliver the Operating Model. Establish clarity on how the BI & Reporting team collaborates with other departments and define clear boundaries on who does what within strategic, tactical and self-service reporting (governance, quality standards and ways of working). This includes driving alignment on shared roles, responsibilities and expectations across Finance, Business and IT, ensuring a common language and a unified understanding of how we deliver together.
  • Lead the Full Solution Lifecycle. Support your team in managing the full lifecycle of our core data products within strategic, tactical and self-service reporting - from requirement capturing, implementation and validation to continuous improvements and product value tracking. You will ensure this lifecycle is executed consistently through the team, with clear ownership, transparent quality gates and a governed, end‑to‑end delivery model.
  • Develop the Team. Build competencies in governance, BI, AI literacy, Snowflake and DaaS, and re-launch the BI Champions Network to support adoption and empowerment across the organisation.
  • Enable Self-Service. Define clear processes, roles, responsibilities and ways of working that enable self-service reporting on an operational level, while ensuring rigor and quality in tactical and strategic reporting.
  • Stakeholder Alignment. Ensure effective collaboration with Finance leadership, ELT stakeholders, Business owners, ITTS, and AI & Digital Innovation.

About you

You bring strong people and projectleadership capabilities and can create alignment across diverse stakeholders while driving structure, clarity and followthrough. You also have proven experience within BI, Reporting or similar domains. You are capable of:

  • Driving digital adoption and automation.
  • Managing complex programmes with synchronized roadmaps.
  • Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Building a BI Champions Network to democratize data access.
  • Leading through influence and structure.

Competencies

  • Proven leadership in BI & Reporting.
  • Effective stakeholder management across Finance, Business, and AI & Digital Innovation.
  • Experience establishing operating models and governance frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of reporting governance, data value chains, and modern BI tooling.
  • Ability to set direction, build roadmaps, communicate clearly, and secure buy-in.
