We are looking for a QA Engineer Intern who will be working with our game teams - engineers, artists, producers and other designers and developers striving to make a cohesive, clear user experience.

We appreciate specialists and with your particular skill set, you will play a large part in forming the position and be a part of our continuous exciting adventure. Help us raise questions, think of creative solutions and take initiative to push us forward!

Your time at SYBO

In your ramp-up month
Onboarding is crucial for ensuring that you are well-equipped to contribute, learn and have a great experience during your internship. Therefore you’ll go through the following steps:

• Week 1: Orientation and Introduction to the Company

• Week 2: Understanding the QA Process

• Week 3: Hands-on Training

• Week 4: Project Integration and Other Topics

In your contributor months

• You will work as part of the tech team that comprises Testers and Engineers. You will be supporting various areas of the game by building targeted, automated tests that ensure the technical stability of the features developed.

• Your contributions will be integral in helping deliver a smooth experience to millions of players worldwide. The goal of the internship is to provide you with an understanding of what being a QA Engineer involves, including the responsibilities and tasks necessary for our games to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Getting familiar with features of the game that we want to build automated tests for. 

• Learning the tools and frameworks we will use for developing automated tests.

• Planning (in collaboration with QA Testers) and programming new test cases.

• Reporting on the progress made, identified blockers to the day's objectives and risks for the product's quality.

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that quality standards are met.
  

Requirements

• C# programming skills. 

• Some experience with Unity, or as a minimum experience with another game engine

• Strong critical and creative problem-solving abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Have a positive attitude and drive for product success.

It is a requirement to be enrolled in a university program that supports a full-time internship as part of the education - and you need to be able to commute to our Copenhagen office on a daily basis.

We do not offer relocation, VISA, or house search assistance for internships.
