Are you passionate about modern cloud solutions, Infrastructure as Code, and scalable infrastructure for data and AI? Would you like to help build and maintain our AI & data platform and deploy our AI solutions into production? Then you might be our new colleague!

About the position:

At Sund & Bælt, we are looking for a Data & AI Platform Engineer to help develop, maintain, and optimize scalable infrastructure for our data and AI solutions. You will play a central role in the team by setting up and maintaining our Azure Databricks data platform, establishing infrastructure, and deploying AI solutions. You will have the opportunity to experiment with new technologies and help push the boundaries of what is possible with European cloud solutions in the data and AI field.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable infrastructure for data and AI solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Design solutions from both a business and technological perspective.
  • Deploy AI solutions and automate the deployment of systems.
  • Build and maintain event-driven architecture.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerts, and monitor solutions in production.
  • Help define frameworks and standards for platform development at Sund & Bælt.
  • Assist in migrating some of our solutions to European cloud platforms and stay curious about European cloud solutions.

Who You Are:

We imagine that you:

  • Have experience in building, deploying, and maintaining cloud solutions—and are eager to push boundaries with European cloud platforms.
  • Have experience with Infrastructure as Code—e.g., azurerm and ovh providers.
  • Are experienced with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines in GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Are familiar with Databricks, Fabric, or Snowflake.
  • Have experience with containerization.
  • Have experience with Bash or PowerShell and can read and understand Python.
  • Are knowledgeable about event-driven architecture—e.g., via Azure Event Hub.
  • Are eager to take responsibility for your area of expertise, are a good communicator, and work independently.
  • Are curious, enjoy experimenting with new technologies, and are good at acquiring new knowledge.
  • Have a background as a platform engineer, cloud developer, DevOps engineer, MLOps engineer, or similar.
  • Hold a relevant degree in computer science, natural sciences, or another technical field.

Knowledge of Danish is an advantage but not a requirement.

Your Future Workplace:

You will become part of the Applied Knowledge & AI department in the Digital division. The department is new, so it’s essential that you thrive in a context where you and your colleagues help define how we work with data and AI. You will also work closely with Sund & Bælt's Cloud Infrastructure team, which sets the overall framework.

The team consists of data scientists, data engineers, a data & AI architect, and business development profiles who work closely together to develop and implement data and AI solutions.

We offer a workplace with great energy, a positive work culture, and flexible working hours—because we believe in a good balance between private life and work life. There are also excellent opportunities for professional and personal development.

Your primary workplace will be at Vester Søgade in the heart of Copenhagen. Travel to our offices in Halsskov and Rødby will be limited.

Does This Sound Like You?

We would love to hear from you—even if you don’t match all the desired qualifications. We are happy to invest in the right candidate.
