Shape the Financial Strategy Behind STARK Group IT

We’re looking for a Senior Finance Manager to take full ownership of the financial agenda in STARK Group IT In this role, you will shape how we invest in technology, ensure transparency, and turn financial insight into measurable business results. Technology is a growth engine for STARK Group, and you will make sure that every IT investment drives efficiency, value, and impact across our international business. You will be the finance lead in a complex, international IT organisation and part of the Group IT leadership team as a trusted partner to our CIO.

Together with your small, dedicated finance team, you’ll ensure that decisions are data-driven, that governance is strong, and that our investments deliver real business outcomes.

Your Impact – What You Will Do and Deliver

In this role, you drive the financial performance, governance, and accountability across Group IT. You act as a strategic partner to the IT leadership team, connecting financial insights to operational and strategic outcomes.

One of your key responsibilities in this role is therefore to build a finance function that is trusted, transparent, and indispensable to decision-making - enabling the organisation to make informed, data-driven choices and continuously improve performance.

You are successful when, within your first year, you:

  • Create full financial transparency across IT spend, investment pipeline, and portfolio performance through structured reporting and dashboards.

  • Deliver accurate and insight-driven forecasts and business cases that enable fact-based decisions and prioritisation.

  • Embed robust financial governance and cost control, ensuring every investment creates measurable value.

  • Build trusted partnerships with the CIO and IT leadership team through proactive analysis, timely input, and clear recommendations.

  • Raise financial maturity in Group IT by strengthening accountability and alignment with Group Finance standards.

Beyond these goals, you will own the financial planning cycle. You will manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term outlooks. You will challenge and refine investment cases, lead portfolio performance reviews, and integrate finance tightly into governance structures and decision-making forums.

Working closely with Group Finance, you ensure consistent standards, reporting, and cost allocation across the organisation. You also lead and develop your finance team, existing of two finance controllers building analytical strength, proactive thinking, and a clear focus on value creation.

What You Bring

You are a finance leader who thrives in complexity and brings structure to ambiguity. You combine strong financial expertise with business acumen and the ability to connect numbers to strategy.

With a background in financial business partnering - ideally within a technology, transformation, or project-driven environment - you’re experienced in both operational detail and strategic thinking. You are analytical and precise, yet pragmatic in how you turn insight into action.

You likely bring:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior finance business partnering or similar role in an international, project-driven or tech-heavy context.

  • Strong financial skills in budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and performance reporting.

  • Commercial mindset: You link financial data to business impact and challenge decisions constructively.

  • Clear communication skills, enabling you to translate complex financials into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

  • Leadership experience, coaching and developing others while fostering accountability and collaboration.

You are curious, resilient, and proactive. You are someone who takes initiative, drives progress, and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement.

In return, you’ll join a highly visible and strategically important area of STARK Group IT, where finance plays a direct role in shaping technology decisions and business transformation. You’ll be part of a professional and ambitious environment that values collaboration, trust, and continuous development — and where your work has a clear, measurable impact.
