Driving Digital Transformation Through Insightful Analytics

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between business stakeholders and our developers? As a Business Analyst at STARK GROUP IT, you will play a key role in enabling our Sourcing Analytics team in our digital transformation by analysing data and translating business requirements into tangible work for our developers. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Europe and on many different levels from Process Owners to Architects, ensuring our digitalisation stays on track. If you are ready to make a real impact and help STARK become a truly data-driven organization, we would love to hear from you.

Your Role and Impact

You will work closely with architects, data engineers, BI developers, and sourcing leaders within STARK Group IT and across our seven European business units. Your job is to translate business needs into clear technical specifications, ensure the right data teams are engaged, and guide initiatives from requirement to delivery. You will also support our Athene sourcing projects by analysing and documenting data sources and ensuring they are made available and tested.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to uncover, challenge, and clarify data requirements while ensuring accurate documentation.

  • Translate business needs into structured, actionable technical specifications for development and data teams.

  • Identify and assess relevant data sources in cooperation with stakeholders and data domains and ensuring alignment with enterprise data management practices.

  • Ensure final solutions meet agreed objectives, manage change requests, and maintain progress across teams.

  • Facilitate alignment on KPIs and definitions, and ensure they are properly documented in the enterprise data catalog in line with Data Management CoE standards.

You will be successful in this role when you consistently ensure timely delivery and receive strong stakeholder feedback on both the outcome and the collaboration. By acting as a clear bridge between business and developers, you translate business needs into well-defined data requirements and actionable data analysis that create real business value. Your success is driven by strong communication, analytical thinking, and your ability to navigate a collaborative environment.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who is structured, curious, and confident operating across both business and technical environments. You enjoy turning complexity into clarity and fostering alignment across teams.

You bring:

  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders across organisational layers.

  • Proven experience translating business needs into technical data requirements and guiding datafocused projects.

  • Ability to evaluate and structure change requests, paired with strong attention to detail and a strategic mindset.

  • Familiarity with building templates or defining new ways of working, and basic skills in SQL and Databricks.

  • Experience working in international environments and navigating different cultures.

You will use a modern data stack that includes Azure Databricks, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Qlik Replicate, Kafka and our enterprise data catalog in Open Metadata. It is also helpful - but not required - if you have some familiarity with BI or Data Management processes, sourcing related domains, agile ways of working, ServiceNow, or Azure components such as Synapse or Data Factory.

Welcome to Group IT

When you join Group IT, you join a collaborative international organisation where technology and business go hand in hand. We are replacing legacy systems and building a modern, modular IT landscape to support STARK Group’s continued growth. You will become part of a community that values knowledge sharing, professionalism, and building solutions that make a clear difference to colleagues across Europe.
