Help build the pricing foundation behind STARK Group’s digital transformation
Are you a backend engineer who enjoys turning business needs into robust, maintainable services? As our new Backend Software Engineer, you will help build and evolve the pricing capabilities that support STARK Group’s commercial performance across Northern Europe. You will join a team working with a modern engineering stack and contribute directly to the Athene programme – our major digital transformation initiative.
Your role and impact
You will join the Pricing Team within the Athene programme – STARK Group’s major digital transformation initiative – while being part of a strong community of software engineers working from our office in Viby J and other Group IT locations. Your focus will be on delivering reliable features and improvements while learning and applying best practices for scalable services and long‑term maintainability. You will collaborate closely with QA, UX, business analysts, architects and commercial stakeholders to ensure we build the right solutions in the right way. In this role, you will:
You will be successful in this role when you deliver functional, tested backend features with solid code quality, contribute actively to team discussions and transparency, and help ensure documentation and test coverage support long‑term maintainability.
What you bring

You bring:
You will work with a modern tech stack including C#, Azure, Azure DevOps, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Grafana, and Kubernetes/Argo, and you should be comfortable learning new tools as the platform evolves.
