Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or at least 2 years of experience in linguistics, translation, localization, sports journalism, or related disciplines.
• Native-level fluency in Arabic (Saudi Arabia) with excellent writing and editing skills.
• Strong English comprehension for accurate content adaptation.
• Extensive knowledge of football, including terminology, competitions, and cultural aspects.

Responsibilities

• Review, translate, and localize sports content, focusing on football, while adhering to style guides and quality standards.
• Perform quality control on content from English (US) to Arabic (Saudi Arabia).
• Adapt audiovisual content to resonate with Saudi audiences.
• Conduct research on local sports content and trends.
• Proofread and edit Arabic content for grammar and readability.
• Provide feedback to improve localization outcomes.
• Manage weekly workloads while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
