Associate VP, Project Management – EMEA
The Services organization delivers client outcomes through global standards and strong regional execution. The Project Management (PM) pillar ensures predictable, high‑quality delivery from initiation to go‑live.
As Associate VP, Project Management (M9) for EMEA, you will own a portfolio of complex, high‑value programs, act as the senior escalation point for critical delivery decisions, and ensure that governance, financial performance, and execution quality meet both client expectations and business objectives. You will partner closely with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Consulting and Operations to secure end‑to‑end alignment.
You will work hand-in-hand with the AVP, Delivery Excellence to embed global standards, strengthen methodologies, and drive continuous improvement. You will also lead and develop a team of senior project and program managers—building capability, ensuring effective resource planning, and fostering a high-performing PM community across EMEA.
Your mission: strengthen and scale delivery excellence, standardize how we plan and govern work, improve predictability and margins, and grow strong project leadership across the EMEA region, while maintaining a client-first focus throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic programs: Oversee large, multi-stream programs and portfolios to ensure delivery against scope, time, budget, quality and act as the escalation point for major delivery risks and decisions.
- Shape PM strategy: Influence and evolve global frameworks, methodologies, and governance.
- Drive delivery excellence: Ensure consistent adoption of best practices, tools, and standards across EMEA.
- Manage financial performance: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, margins, and financial controls.
- Strengthen risk management: Ensure early identification, mitigation, and escalation of critical risks and issues.
- Develop project leaders: Coach and grow senior PMs and program leads; drive succession planning and capability building.
- Enable cross‑functional alignment: Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Operations to secure seamless execution.
Key Requirements
- Proven leadership of large and complex programs with full accountability for scope, budget, timeline, and quality.
- Portfolio‑level oversight experience with the ability to balance commitments, capacity, risk, and financial performance.
- Strong executive engagement skills, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and client executives.
- Deep expertise in governance, reporting, and control frameworks across major programs.
- Solid financial and commercial acumen, including margin management and cost control.
- Experienced people leader, capable of developing senior project and program managers.
- Track record in driving delivery excellence at scale and embedding consistent ways of working.
- Robust risk and escalation management skills under high-pressure conditions.
- Cross-functional leadership experience across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Operations.
- Client‑first mindset, balancing customer outcomes with business targets and operational rigor.
