At Sky‑Watch, robust, reliable, and advanced drone systems are developed for demanding environments and critical situations where predictability, mechanical durability, traceability and user safety are paramount.

As an ambitious scale‑up company in rapid development, Sky‑Watch is fully aware that ensuring our products, processes, and organization consistently meet the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance is essential to our continued success in a global, highly regulated defense market.

To strengthen the company’s QHSE team, we are now looking for a passionate, inspiring and proactive

QHSE Director

Global Quality Leadership – Full Value Chain Impact – Operational Reliability

Do you want to take a central role in shaping how a high‑tech defense company secures reliability, compliance and world‑class product integrity on a global scale? As the new QHSE Director at Sky Watch, you will own and continuously evolve the company’s Quality and HSE foundation, ensuring that our products, processes and teams operate at a consistently high and predictable standard across the entire value chain.

You will be responsible for safeguarding Sky-Watch’s Quality Management System, driving compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001 and AQAP, and enabling stable, scalable execution in an increasingly demanding international defense environment. Through strong cross functional leadership and data driven governance, you will strengthen decision making, reduce operational risk, accelerate execution stability and help deliver a dependable customer experience built on safety, performance and traceability.

Joining Sky‑Watch means stepping into a fast‑growing scale‑up where reliability is a strategic differentiator — and where your expertise will directly influence both day‑to‑day operations and the company’s ongoing global growth journey.

You will report directly to the CEO, including direct leadership responsibility for the QA Manager and dotted line leadership of the QC Manager.
In this role, you act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Management Team, providing clear, fact based recommendations on quality, risk and compliance, and contributing actively to strategic decision‑making at enterprise level.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • QHSE Strategy & Policy

  • Sky‑Watch QMS (AS9100 / ISO 9001 / AQAP)

  • Quality Governance & Risk Management

  • Digital QHSE & Data Governance

  • Continuous Improvement & NCR / CAPA

  • Supplier Quality Requirements & APQP / PPAP

  • Manufacturing Quality & QC oversight

  • Audits & Compliance

  • Health, Safety & Environment (in collaboration with the Health & Safety Organization / AMO)

  • People Leadership & Cross‑functional Collaboration

To succeed in this role, you hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or a related technical field, combined with at least 10 years of experience in global Quality/QHSE leadership within regulated, high‑tech industries with full value chain such as defense, aerospace or equivalent.

You have demonstrated strong results in defect reduction, execution stability and QMS maturity, and you bring hands on experience with MRB, concessions, PPAP and supplier audits. You possess deep knowledge of AS9100, AQAP and ISO 9001 requirements and are comfortable working with lifecycle product safety in a regulated environment.

You work confidently with structured problem‑solving and quality methodologies such as RCA, FMEA, Control Plans and capability analysis, and you are experienced in configuration and document control to ensure consistency and traceability. In addition, you bring strong digital QHSE literacy, using data governance, dashboards and digital adoption to create transparency, support sound decision making and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

You are based within approximately one hour’s driving distance from Støvring and are willing to travel around 20–30 days per year.

As a person, you take ownership of your responsibilities and bring energy and commitment to your work. You are proactive and structured, balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, and remain calm and focused in a fast‑changing environment. With a strong analytical and curious mindset, you are able to translate complex quality, risk and compliance topics into clear, actionable messages that create understanding, alignment and strong buy‑in across senior leadership and the wider organization. You work collaboratively across functions, build trust with key stakeholders, and act as a credible role model for quality, integrity and professional judgement.
