Senior Software Engineer (Generative AI, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves designing and building robust data and AI infrastructure to support Generative AI solutions, providing engineering support for scaling use cases, and developing automation frameworks to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on production-grade backend or full-stack systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, particularly with frameworks like FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI systems, including RAG pipelines and multi-agent frameworks.
• Familiarity with microservice architecture and API design (OpenAPI/REST).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Comfortable with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data and AI infrastructure for Generative AI solutions.
• Provide engineering support to teams piloting GenAI use cases, addressing data and architectural challenges.
• Develop automation frameworks to ensure reliability and observability in AI workflows.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to integrate models and tools into existing systems.
• Evaluate and introduce emerging GenAI technologies to enhance value.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to community building within the organization.

Skills

• Experience with open-source contributions or innovation initiatives.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and responsible AI practices.
• Expertise in prompt design and engineering techniques.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
